Linda Marie (Alley) Richardson, 50, of Baraboo, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016 at UW Hospital in Madison due to a stroke. Linda was born in Baraboo on Dec. 31, 1965 the daughter of Ronald and Betty (Bethke) Alley. She was a 1984 graduate of Baraboo High School and attended UW Whitewater. In her early years, she was employed as a manager at Hardee’s restaurant in Beaver Dam. While working there, she met her husband, David, and they were united in marriage on Aug. 7, 1993 in Baraboo. Linda was currently employed as an accountant at NUK in Reedsburg. In her spare time she enjoyed needle-point and crocheting, and had made many quilts and baby blankets for family and friends. She will dearly be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her husband, David Richardson; two children, Miranda and Ben; mother, Betty Alley; sister, Theresa (Dustin Stoor) Martz, all of Baraboo; brother, Jeffrey Alley of Portage; and many other relatives and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her father and grandparents. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date to be announced. The family would like to give a special thank you to the Doctors and staff at UW Hospital in Madison for the compassionate care given to Linda. The Rago-Baldwin Funeral Home, 520 East St., Baraboo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
