Benbrook, Texas – Dan Pierce, 35, of Benbrook, Texas, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, Dec. 12, 2016. Dan was born in Fort Riley, Kansas, and graduated from Sun Prairie High School in Wisconsin. He went on to become a Critical Care Paramedic, working in Texas and Wisconsin. In September of 2005, Dan married Jamie Wills. The light of his life, his daughter Emily, was born a year later. After moving to Texas, he married Cassandra Patterson. Dan’s job as a paramedic was his life. He enjoyed taking care of others on the ambulance and in hospitals. He is survived by his mother, Jane (Robert) Ross; his father, Lonnie (Barbara) Pierce; wife, Cassandra Patterson; his daughter, Emily; maternal grandfather, Charles (Kay) Spelbring; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Dan was preceded in death by his brother, Jarrod Pierce; his maternal grandmother, Janice (Roger) Buelow; and his paternal grandmother, Bess Pierce. A celebration of Dan’s life will take place on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rago-Baldwin Funeral Home, 520 East St., Baraboo.
