La Farge, WI. – Vicki Beth Ozelis, 55, of La Farge, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Aug. 1, 2016 with her fiance’, Gene Zautke. Vicki was born on March 10, 1961 in La Grange, Illinois. She was the daughter of Richard and Audrey (Ofelt) Choutka. Vicki was a 1979 graduate of Lyon’s Township High School in La Grange. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Vicki knew the importance of family and dedicated as much time as possible to being with her loved ones. She was known to volunteer her time where-ever needed or possible. Vicki had a unique love for the outdoors and was very conscious of the environment. Survivors include her daughters, Rae (Steve) Pyfferoen, Daina Ozelis; sons, Ian (Amanda Simon) and Peter Ozelis; grandchildren, Sammy and Kaley; a sister, Bev (Darin Antoniewicz) Choutka, and his daughter, D.J. In addition, she is survived by her step-children, Allen and Amber Zautke; and step-granddaughter, Gabbie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Audrey Choutka. Memorial services will be held at a later date in August, at Devil’s Lake State Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family. The Rago-Baldwin Funeral Home, 520 East St., Baraboo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
